Marissa stopped sobbing and stared at Tina. In a more stern voice, she asked, "What did he say to you...?"

Tina swallowed. "Wh-what do you mean? He just fixed my voice tha-thats all. He c-can't speak." She stood up, scared by the tone of Marissa's voice. "I-I have to get to bed."

"Why did he fix your voice, even though he knew the risks... You could have died... Or worse..." Marissa looked away. "What did he take from you? I knew he could speak, but I though he could only speak when he is doing a spell... I ask again, What did he say to you?" Her eyes seemed to be full of a past guilt, that only she knew.

Her eyes widened when she said 'You could have died... or worse'. Tina could have died... and Patches didn't even say!? She suddenly felt very sick and put a hand to her mouth. "He-he didn't even say I could have died!" She wispered. And Tina had thought she could trust him.

"What did he say to you??!" Marissa's voice was now slightly worried. She was sure he gave her a sob story.

"He said- he said." Began Tina, turning slightly green. "One minute!" she managed to get out before legging it to the bathroom.

Marissa slowly followed, hugging her arms protectively against her own body. "Y-You okay?"

Tina was on the floor now after she had-. "I didn't really picture my first night like th-this." She said, panting while leanign agaisnt the cold tiled wall. She let out a nervous laugh but went serious quickly. "Anyway- he s-said s-something about in exchange for some of my p-power."

"You-You gave him some of your p-powers??" Marissa shivered lightly. "Oh, god, please help us..." She ran out, and headed to the outside, unaware of what was about to happen.

"H-Hold on!" said Tina starting to get annoyed, following her out. "Slow down. He- he said... bad things- about you." she crossed her fingers hoping Patches was the lier and not Marissa. She was too nice for that.

Marissa stopped in her tracks. "What DID he say???" Her voice was very angry. Her eyes narrowed.

Tina stepped backwards, suddely very afraid. "P-please don't kill me!" She cried, tears shining in her eyes. And then she broke down into sobs. "I did-didn't understand any of it. You're too nice, and Patches- patches was so upset!"

Marissa brought her head back in suprise and her eyes softened. "W-why would I kill you?" She half-whispered.

"H-he said you killed people and made them into d-dolls." She cried, sinking to the floor, still sobbing. "I d-don't know what to belive now! Y-you're t-t-to nice, I don't get it."

Marissa's eyes were wide with disbelief. "He said, what?" She then glared ahead. "Ima kill him... Ima kill him..." She then knelt down to her level. "I would never kill another.. Whatever he told you were all lies..."

"So then- what are all the dolls for?" Asked Tina looking up with her tear ridden face. Why would Patches lie?

"Im not sure. All I know is that I got them from my long lost friend, Spencer. He gave them to me for my b-day. If I only knew where he was, I would ask him about them." Marissa replied.

Tina sighed pulling herself together. She stood up and cleared her throat. "Well, I sorta didn't want this celebration to end up with me throwing up and crying. That was a let down... and you found out patches betrayed you..." She gave a confused expression. "I might go to bed now..."

"Go ahead.. Ima find patches. Ima find out who is controlling him, and Ima kill him." Marissa said more soothingly than she felt.

"Umm... Good luck with that." mumbled Tina, turning round to her bed. She then drew in a sharp breath because of a sudden pain in her stomach. Gasping she fell to the floor with her arms wrapped round herself.

Tina kept her mouth shut to prevent herself from screaming. Managing to stop being overwhelmed from the pain, she writed on the floor for a minute or so before saying. "I think patches did what he wanted to me." Then she gasped again as more pain shot through her.

"I-I dont think, patches is himself. He must be being controlled... But by who?" Marissa looked at Tina. "Give me your hand." She instructed.

Tina stuck out her arm while curling herself up to at least try and dull the pain a little. Deep down she thought patches had always been like this. People just don't turn bad...

Marissa grabbed the hand, and closed her eyes. She slowly felt the pain seep from Tina, and move into herself. She cringed, and fell to the ground. she curled into a ball against the pain.
