"why you what to know?" nina hissed

"Just asking a simple question." Jackson hissed back. "And by your reaction, im guessing that it is a yes."

"why? you jealous?" nina smirked, the tail swishing back and forth.

"Nope. Not one bit. Im acctually ha..Happy for you." He choked the word 'happy' barely out. jackson growled at himself.

"right," nina shrugged, climbing higher.

Jackson followed slowly. "Really. I think you two look cu...Cu... Cute together." He BARELY managed to get cute past his lips. again he growled to himself.

"uh huh." nina was not beliveing one word, she looked down from her post, at jackson.

Jackson stopped talking for a long while. "You know.... Uh... nevermind..."

"what?" nina asked

Jackson bit his lower lip. "I.... I just have to tell you... I didn't mean anything I said earlier.... I... I still really like you...." Jackson looked away. He was afraid to look her in the eyes.

nina lood down, tears stinging, "then why say it?" anger and sadness filled her voice

Jackson was at a loss for words. He was trying to come up with something that wouldn't hurt her feelings. "I...I didn't like the painful truth..." He looked at the ground, still trying to avoid her gaze.

"what truth?" nina growled her tail fluffing out.

"I...I think.. I think I may be in...." Jackson didn't finish the sentance. He just climbed down from the tree as fast as he could, and walk away as fast as he could.

"jackson?" nina yelled confused, crawling to the end of the branch. nina wimpered, whating to go after him, but just couldn't bring herself to.

Jackson shook his head. He told himself over and over he would not turn back. Over and over in his head, he spoke, I may be in love with you... I love you... love you.... He shivered at the unspoken words. He kept walking, until he was deeper into the forest.

nina glanced the way jackson was going and then back to where everyone was. she sighed, climbing down, running to jackson. whating to know/

Jackson stopped near a small rock formation that looked large enough to crawl into and hide. He did that, and brought his knees to his chin, weeping slightly. He placed his head on his palms, and cried until he couldn't do it any longer.

"JACKSON?!" nina ran yelling, hoping he didn't go to far. she wimpered, walking past the rock that jackson was hidding under. "jackson," nina wispered worried

Jackson held his breath. Right now he didn't want to face Nina. He placed his head on his hands once again, and cried, trying to be very quiet.

nina wimpered, hugging herself letting the tears fall, as she walked back to the group slowy.

Jackson cried to himself for a few minutes after Nina left, and then crawled out of the rock, eyes red, from tears. He made his way VERRRYYYY slowly back to where everyone else was, stopping at a tree, and climbing it, making sure not to be seen.

nina getting to the group held her head down not whatting to show the tear streaks.

Chaton walked over to greet Nina back. "Heeeeyyyy~ nina!" He said cheerfully, until he realized that was a bad idea. He lifted her chin and stared into her tear filled eyes.. "Nina? You okay?" Before he got a response, he hugged her.

nina hugged back, hidding in chaton's chest, not whating to be seen. her tail didn't curl with chaton's but stayed where it was.
